Why Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is criticising Apple but praising Google
There’s no love lost between Apple and Facebook (or Meta as it is known now). For years, there has been a lot of tension between the two companies. Apple has bene openly critical of how Facebook manages user privacy and made certain changes that have really hurt the company. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has said that Apple’s policies cost Apple close to $10 billion in revenue in 2022. Now Zuckerberg has once again criticised Apple for its App Store policies.
Zuckerberg was speaking at The New York Times DealBook summit and said that what Apple is doing with App Store policies isn’t sustainable. “Apple has sort of singled themselves out as the only company that is trying to control unilaterally what apps get on a device. I don’t think that’s a sustainable or good place to be.”
