WhatsApp will soon let users view Status directly from chat list, like Instagram’s Stories

Tech giant WhatsApp is a busy company as the instant-messaging platform is often working on new features and upgrades to launch on the app.

So far, the Internet has been buzzing with reports on upcoming features and if recent speculation is to be believed, WhatsApp is currently working on a new update that will make it easier for users to view Status.

The Status feature on WhatsApp works in a similar way as Instagram’s Stories. Every Status on WhatsApp, which can be a picture or a video post, stays on the platform for 24 hours before vanishing forever. Users also have an option of choosing a specific audience for their Status post on WhatsApp.
