WhatsApp to soon roll out ‘Message Pin Duration’ feature: Here’s what it means for users

WhatsApp recently rolled out two new privacy features on its platform. Now a new report has surfaced online revealing that the Meta-owned platform is working on a feature which will enable users to choose for how long messages stay pinned within chats and groups.

As reported by WABetaInfo, the beta testers on Android can now access the ‘message pin duration’ feature on WhatsApp. The feature comes with update version 2.23.3.17. “With this feature, it will be possible to pin a certain message within individual chats and groups, making it easier for anyone in the conversation to highlight it for future reference,” mentioned the report.
