WhatsApp starts rolling out Messenger Rooms feature to Android beta users
Now that Facebook has globally launched its private video conferencing tool — Messenger Rooms — the company is gearing up to integrate this tool with other apps it owns, namely WhatsApp and Instagram. This was even confirmed by Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg in his In his announcement post where he said, “Rooms have no time limits, can host up to 50 people, and you can create them for free across Messenger, Facebook, and soon Instagram and WhatsApp as well.”
Now, WABetaInfo has confirmed that the Messenger Rooms shortcut has been spotted in the latest Android beta version — 2.20.163 — of WhatsApp. “First reports say WhatsApp was starting to roll out the feature in the USA. More countries will be following in the next few hours,” said WABetaInfo.
