WhatsApp partners 10 Indian organisations to combat spread of misinformation

NEW DELHI: Meta Platforms’ WhatsApp Tuesday launched an integrated safety campaign, Check the Facts, in a bid to grow user awareness around digital best practices that can help prevent the spread of misinformation on the platform.

Further, the instant messaging platform has partnered with 10 Indian organisations, including Boom Fact-Check, Fact Crescendo, Factly, and The Healthy Indian Project, among others, to prevent and combat the spread of misinformation in the country.
