WhatsApp may allow users to run multiple accounts on the same phone soon

WhatsApp is rumoured to be working on a multi-account feature for quite some time now. With the latest WhatsApp Beta for Android version 2.23.17.8, the company has started rolling out the feature to beta testers in limited numbers, according to the WABetaInfo report.

What is multi-account support

The multi-account feature, as the name suggests, allows users to run multiple accounts on the same devices. Until now, WhatsApp has been allowing users to run the same account on up to four different devices via the Linked Devices feature. With multi-account, WhatsApp will allow users to run different accounts on the same device.
