WhatsApp down: Meta issues apology for longest outage ever

WhatsApp’s owner Meta Platforms Inc has apologised for the outage fac outage faced by billions ed by billions of people on the messaging service.

“We know people had trouble sending messages on WhatsApp today. We’ve fixed the issue and apologise for any inconvenience,” a Meta spokesman told AFP.

WhatsApp, Meta’s popular messaging service was down for more than an hour for billions across the world.
