What is shoulder-surfing and how Apple is planning to protect iPhone users
Apple,
devices, including
iPhones,
and Macs, come with bright screens that support high-resolution visuals and a wide field of view. The existing Apple displays (both LCD and OLED panels) support close to a 170-degree field of view. This makes it easier for prying eyes to see (or shoulder surf) what’s there on the iPhone or Mac screen. This can be a major risk, especially in government and security offices and needs to be stopped. By stopping others from snooping on users’ screens, Apple can make sure that their privacy is being protected.
