What Can You Use Internet Computer (ICP) For?

Following the lead of IP, the Internet Computer aspires to act as the underlying backbone for upcoming Web3.0 applications.

It is a decentralized system in which the technology stack is hosted not by commercial cloud or web service providers but by trusted, independently operated data centers (called nodes) located worldwide.

ICP is a new internet protocol that links these nodes together (Internet Computer Protocol). The Internet Computer chain operates on a collection of nodes in separate data centers worldwide.

Each blockchain relies on its constituent nodes processing messages in the same order to guarantee consistency.
