Web Werks-Iron Mountain JV acquires land parcel in Chennai to build new data centers

NEW DELHI: The Web Werks-Iron Mountain Data Centers joint venture has acquired a four-acre land parcel in Ambattur, Chennai, to build two new tier-3 data centers (CHE-1 and CHE-2) with support for 36MW of IT load.

This further enhances the company’s growing pan-India footprint, which will support more than 90MW of new development across the key markets of Pune, Bangalore, Noida, Mumbai and Hyderabad, as per a media statement on Monday.
