Watch: Workers protest at Apple iPhone factory in China

Workers at Apple’s biggest iPhone supplier Foxconn reportedly clashed with security forces and company officials amid protests over late bonus payments. The protests took place at Foxconn’s largest factory in China’s Zhengzhou. The facility was also in news recently over the exodus of employees due to fresh Covid outbreak and strict quarantine rules. Foxconn is the biggest iPhone maker, accounting for 70% of iPhone shipments globally. It makes most of the phones at the Zhengzhou plant. The company has other smaller production sites in India and southern China.
