VVDN plans to make large investment under the PLI scheme for telecom gear: CEO

NEW DELHI: VVDN Technologies, home-bred telecom contract manufacturer, is planning to make large investments under the production-linked scheme (PLI) to expand manufacturing and hire employees. It also expects “new business” coming from global telecom and networking companies for contract manufacturing, founder and CEO Puneet Agarwal told ET.

VVDN along with other domestic vendors like HFCL, Coral Telecom, Sterlite and Dixon Technologies had expressed interest to apply for the PLI scheme, the government recently revealed.
