Vodafone to slash 11,000 jobs in pursuit of becoming leaner organisation: Reports

NEW DELHI: The chief executive of Vodafone Group Plc Tuesday said the British telecoms giant would slash 11,000 jobs over the next three years as it seeks to become a “simpler organisation”.

“Our performance has not been good enough,” news agency AFP reported, citing a statement by the new Vodafone CEO, Margherita Della Valle.
