Vodafone, Microsoft sign $1.5 billion deal on GenAI, Cloud, IoT

NEW DELHI: Vodafone has signed a 10-year strategic partnership with Microsoft to offer Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), digital, enterprises, and cloud services to more than 300 million businesses across its European and African markets.

The British mobile and broadband operator Tuesday said it will invest $1.5 billion over the next decade in cloud and customer-focused AI services developed in conjunction with Microsoft. Additionally, Microsoft will use Vodafone’s fixed and mobile connectivity services.
