Vodafone Idea verdict may impact credit cost of banks

The Supreme Court on Tuesday granted 10-year time to Vodafone Idea to pay its outstanding adjusted gross revenue (AGR) dues to the Department of Telecommunications (DoT).

However, the telco will have to make an upfront payment of 10% of the total dues by March 31, 2021 while the remaining instalments are supposed to be paid on February 7 every year, notified SC.
