Vodafone Idea slips over 8% on Q1 loss

Shares of Vodafone Idea declined over 8 per cent in Friday’s session after the firm posted a massive loss of Rs 25,000 crore for the quarter ended June 2020.

Investors were also concerned about the auditor’s report that raised serious doubts over the company’s ability to continue as a going concern. The report said that it has lost its entire net worth as of June 30, as a result of the payment of levies and AGR dues.
