Vodafone Idea Q3 results today: Will the telecom operator pleasantly surprise or disappoint?

Vodafone Idea Ltd is scheduled to release earnings for the quarter ended December later today, and the telecom operator is expected to see a sequential improvement in the performance, aided by operating leverage benefits and higher average revenue per user.

According to estimates given by brokerages, the company’s consolidated net loss in the December quarter is seen narrowing from the September quarter.

Net loss is seen at Rs 6,857-7,900 crore, compared to a loss of Rs 8,738 crore a quarter ago. Consolidated revenue is seen at Rs 10,700-10,744 crore, compared to Rs 10,716 crore in the September quarter.
