Vodafone Idea prepares to ensure connectivity during Cyclone Fani

NEW DELHI: India’s largest telecom operator Vodafone Idea on Friday said that it has taken all necessary precautions to face cyclone Fani in Orissa as part of which the telco has ensured sufficient fuel supply to its sites across all locations.

To ensure fuel sufficiency, the company is also stocking fuel stocking at strategic locations for use in times of emergency.

Additionally, mobile DGs, critical equipment spares and vehicles have been arranged and kept ready at key locations, the telco said in a statement.
