Vodafone Idea paid license fee dues for first quarter: Spokesperson

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea said that it has paid its licence fee dues for the first quarter 2021-22, refuting a media report which claimed that it has delayed the payment.

“VIL has paid its licence fee dues for first quarter 2021-22,” a company spokesperson said in a statement.

Earlier today a TOI report claimed that Vodafone Idea failed to pay the full licence fee to the government for the first quarter of this fiscal, with a shortfall of nearly Rs 150 crore.
