Vodafone Idea offers customer care, number requests via WhatsApp

IC8+##!NEW DELHI: In an industry-first, telecom operator Vodafone Idea today launched VIC, an AI-powered virtual assistant and digital customer service for its customers, which is live on the Websites, My Vodafone and My Idea Apps, and WhatsApp.

The virtual assistant has been developed by Oriserve in partnership with Vodafone Idea

The operator said through the initiative it aims to simplify access for customers to get their queries, and service related requirements addressed at their convenience.
