Vodafone Idea making ‘sincere efforts’ to raise funds, says Ashwini Vaishnaw: Report

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea (Vi) is making sincere efforts to raise funds and has been regularly communicating the progress to the government, said union railways, telecom and IT minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.

“They (Vi) are making sincere efforts, and they have been regularly updating us about what they are doing. We have done whatever we were supposed to do,” Vaishnaw told CNBC-TV18 in an interview on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF 2024) at Davos.
