Vodafone Idea launches new unlimited data plans, Rs 1,999 prepaid plan

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea has launched two new prepaid unlimited data plans priced at Rs 17 and Rs 57, and also silently launched a Rs 1,999 unlimited plan for its users as it seeks to improve subscriber stickiness. The announcement comes days after Vi reduced the validity of two of its entry-level plans.

“The packs are designed to allow prepaid customers to binge all night from midnight to 6 am at extremely affordable price points of Rs 17 for one day, and Rs 57 for 7 days. Vi’s endeavor is to be the preferred telecom provider for prepaid customers by providing an opportunity to the bottom of the pyramid users to experience unlimited data access through this unique proposition,” said the telco in a statement.
