Vodafone Idea inks pact with story publishing platform Firework

MUMBAI: Vodafone Idea NSE -4.74 % (Vi) has inked a pact with story publishing platform Firework, which will give access to the telco’s subscribers to content in form of short video stories. This partnership comes at a time when telcos are trying out different services to engage their customers and prevent them from porting out.

A first for an Indian telco, the partnership allows “Vi to leverage Firework’s content repository from global content studios and also get access to unique occupational generated content creators who are expert storytellers across a wide genre of subjects,” said the operator in a statement on Tuesday.
