Vodafone Idea fastest 4G network operator, Airtel offers best video, games & voice experience: OpenSignal

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea topped the 4G download speed and upload speed charts in April, while its closest rival Bharti Airtel has scored big in video, games, and voice app experience, according to OpenSignal’s Mobile Network Experience Report (April), released Tuesday.

Reliance Jio, in contrast, led in 4G availability with users on its network spending the greatest proportion of time connected to 4G services — 99.5%. Airtel is in second place with a 4G availability score of 98.3%, followed by Vi’s score of 92%. State-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) lagged further behind with 63.6%, according to the report.
