Vodafone Idea: AGR judgement to have damaging implications on telecom sector; may file review petition

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea Limited on Thursday expressed its disappointment over the Supreme Court’s judgment on the Adjusted Gross Revenue (AGR) case and said that the “judgment has significantly damaging implications for India’s telecom industry, which is already reeling under huge financial stress and is left with only four operators.”

Vodafone Idea said it may file a review petition, and urged the government to find ways to mitigate stress on the telecom industry.
