Vodafone case: Singapore court to hear India’s appeal against arbitration order in September
A division of the high court in Singapore will hear the Indian government’s appeal in September against an international arbitration tribunal verdict that went in favour of UK’s Vodafone Group in a ₹22,100 crore retrospective taxation dispute.
People aware of the matter said India’s appeal would be heard by the Singapore International Commercial Court (SICC) beginning September 22. “Hearings are likely to go on for three days,” one of the people said, asking not to be named.
