Voda Idea ties up with Home Credit India for financial help to buy smartphones

NEW DELHI: As a festive bonanza, Vodafone Idea prepaid customers can avail financial assistance to buy any 4G smartphone, with the Indian telco signing a deal with Home Credit India.

In a move to spur demand in the industry, Home Credit India, an international consumer finance provider announced Tuesday an industry-first strategic alliance with Vodafone Idea. The partnership with Home Credit ensures that for a down payment of Rs. 799, the telco’s prepaid customers will be able to buy the latest 4G smartphones starting at Rs 3999, with a bundled 180-day validity plan offering unlimited local and national calls & 1.5GB data per day.
