Vivo to launch Z-series smartphone in India soon, to take on Samsung Galaxy M40
New Delhi: Chinese smartphone maker Vivo will soon launch a new smartphone series in India, starting with the Vivo Z1 Pro. The series is expected to take on Samsung’s M-series, and the phone will directly go neck and neck with the Galaxy M40.
Just like Samsung’s philosophy of targeting the millennials with the M-series, Vivo’s Brand Strategy Director Nipun Marya said “The all-new Z series has been designed to empower millennials and fulfil the dynamic needs of the ‘Gen Z’.”
The Vivo Z1 Pro is expected to feature a 6.53-inch full HD display along with punch-hole display cutout for accommodating the front facing camera. The smartphone will be powered Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710 SoC paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
