Vi launches GIGAnet, an integrated 4G network for its users
Vi, erstwhile Vodafone Idea, has launched GIGAnet, an integrated 4G network.
Vi said that the GIGAnet is the “result of the largest network integration completed in record time and the first-of-its-kind spectrum refarming exercise in the world.”
“Deploying India’s largest AI-powered ma-MIMOs sites, GIGAnet has India’s largest deployment of universal cloud, making it the strongest, future-ready, new-age, dynamic network of these times, to accommodate the enormous amount of data traffic that the post Covid world has seen,” it added.
Vi says GIGAnet is future-ready and will deliver stronger and faster network. The combined 4G network reaches nearly 1 billion people in the country. The GIGAnet aims to deliver an improved and unified network to Vi customers.
