US lawmaker thanks Elon Musk for this decision on ‘hate speech’

US Senator, representing Florida, Rick Scott, thanked Twitter CEO Elon Musk for “standing up against” antisemitism with his decision to suspend American Rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West’s microblogging account.

In a letter to Musk, Scott, on Friday, said, “You were right to take this decisive action to prevent acts of violence and hate crimes against the Jewish community that could have been motivated by these disgusting comments and posts on your platform,” according to The Hill.

Earlier, on Friday, the rapper’s Twitter account had an “account suspended” notice posted on it.
