US blacklists four entities of ZTE

US Bureau of Industry and Security under the Department of Commerce has notified rule amending the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) by adding four entities of Chinese major ZTE to the Entity List after the US government found that the four entities are acting contrary to the national security or foreign policy interests of the United States. The rules will be effective from March 8, 2016. The EAR imposes additional licensing requirements on, and limits the availability of most license exceptions for, exports, re-exports, and transfers (in-country) to those listed.
