Update Aadhaar cards issued 10 years ago, DC asks residents
Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney has issued an appeal to residents to ensure that their Aadhaar information is up to date. She informed the public that the government had initiated an exercise to strengthen citizens’ Aadhaar by updating their latest Proof of Identity (POI) and Proof of Address (POA) documents.
Sawhney also noted that residents who enrolled for Aadhaar before 2015 need to get their documents updated.
She urged residents to update their Aadhaar by uploading supportive documents, such as the latest the POI and POA documents at the nearest Aadhaar centre.
