‘UP to compete with Hyderabad to become hub of data centres’

LUCKNOW: Positioning itself as an upcoming hub of data centres, Uttar Pradesh govt on Tuesday claimed that the state would soon be able to compete with Bengaluru and Hyderabad.

“With the aim to bring Uttar Pradesh on par with Bengaluru and Hyderabad in the field of technology, Yogi govt is fostering significant investments in the sector in the state, especially in the Data Centre Park and Artificial Intelligence. Consequently, several tech giants, such as NIDP Developers, Tata Technologies, STT Global Data Center, and Jackson Limited, are channelling investments into the state,” said an official spokesperson. They added that PM Narendra Modi launched projects worth more than Rs 90,000 crore in the IT and electronics sector of UP recently.
