UP Cabinet approves amendments in Data Centre 2021 policy

Uttar Pradesh Cabinet on Thursday approved amendments in the Data Centre 2021 policy to facilitate the opening of more data centres in the state, an official release said. The state is set to emerge as the hub of data centres in India with the opening of the first data centre in Greater Noida recently and the Yogi Government deciding to set up seven more in the state in future, for which the proposal to amend the policy got the Cabinet’s approval on Thursday, the release said.
