Unpaid dues: Connections of 8 telecommunication companies in Panchkula

At the meeting of revenue realisation committee held on Thursday, city mayor Kulbhushan Goyal ordered to cut internet connections of 8 companies who haven’t paid their dues to Municipal Corporation (MC).

The companies namely– Astro Broadband, One fiber Internet, focal cell, connect broadband, pace connect, speedo go fiber, fastway, and airtel are yet to pay their dues. Apart from these, Reliance, Jio and Airtel owe ₹15 crore to the corporation.

This year, from mobile license fee, a total of ₹6.48 crores has been recovered. Meanwhile, Telesonic and BSNL have also been asked to pay their respective pending dues.
