Uday Shankar quits as Star & Disney India Chairman

In a major development, Uday Shankar, chairman of Star & Disney India and president, The Walt Disney Company APAC has decided to step down. Shankar, one of the top media and entertainment executive from India, will remain at Disney till December 31st to identify his successor to ensure a smooth transition.
