UAE tech firm ‘G42’ pushes back on concerns over China ties

Washington: Emirati artificial intelligence firm G42 has pushed back against a call for Washington to consider trade curbs on the company over its ties with China, rejecting claims about its connections to Beijing.

In a statement published Thursday, G42 said it categorically denies allegations in a recent letter by the US House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party, on its “supposed connections to the Chinese government and their military industrial complex.”
