Two fake call centres busted in Gurugram

The Haryana Chief Minister’s flying squad busted two fake call centres in Gurugram on Wednesday morning.

The centres were duping US Nationals on the pretext of providing 1,000 to 5,000 dollar grant by deducting 100 to 500 dollars from their google cards. Delhi-based brothers who own one of the call centres have been nabbed and Rs 8.5 lakh has been recovered from their possession. Two laptops and a hard disk were seized by the team and an FIR has been registered at the cybercrime police station under sections of cheating and IT act.
