Twitter is now going to tell you why you did not get verified
Let’s be honest, we’ve all thought about applying for verification the very moment Twitter made the option available again. When the microblogging platform opened up for verification requests again, it did so with a new set of rules and requirements. To get that coveted blue tick, you would have to meet the requirements to the full. You might have seen several tweets on the site of people complaining about not getting verified, and so far Twitter has not explained why someone’s verification request has been rejected. But that’s about to change.
Normally, when you send in a verification request and it gets rejected, you just get a simple email from Twitter stating that your request has been rejected and that you can apply again, if you want, in 30 days’ time.
