Twitter edit button may arrive for all users

Elon Musk is reportedly trying to offer the edit feature on Twitter to all users instead of the current paywall status which comes with Twitter Blue subscription.

At the moment, the edit button is only available to subscribers in the current version of Twitter Blue, which costs $4.99 a month and is live in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. What users get is a 30-minute window to change their tweets, and includes a revision history.

Though Musk hasn’t spoken about the strategy in public, this is one of the first Twitter-related topics he raised soon after acquiring a large stake in the company this spring. Back then, Twitter confirmed it was working on the feature, hours after Musk ran a poll on the platform.
