Who will pay $8 every month to get a Twitter Blue Tick or even keep an already existing one? In India, you can get an entire Netflix monthly subscription across multiple devices for that amount!

But will people who consider the Blue Tick as a status symbol pay? Or will it encourage trolls with deep pockets?
