Twitter allow users to add photos, videos, or GIFs to retweets

NEW DELHI: The micro-blogging website Twitter has now started rolling out a new feature which will enable the users to add media files in retweets. As per Twitter, the users can now add images, videos and GIFs in retweets on mobile apps and browsers. Presently, the feature is only available for mobile but it will soon come on desktops as well.
In order to add a photo, video or GIF in retweet users have to choose the retweet with a comment option and then select the media type from the toolbar. The feature is available for both Android and iOS users. Twitter on its design account said, that with introducing the small change was difficult as it has to be added in a way that it fits with the Twitter timeline.
The company tweeted, “It’s easy to express yourself by Retweeting with a comment. What if you could take it a step further and include media? Starting today, you can! Retweet with photos, a GIF, or a video to really make your reaction pop. Available on iOS, Android, and https://mobile.twitter.com .”
