TV channels told to give monthly reports on ‘public interest’ content

Starting March 1, TV channels have been asked to furnish details about obligatory ‘public service’ content they have been asked to show everyday, by the I&B ministry.

In a fresh set of guidelines issued on Monday, the ministry asked channels to show at least 30 minutes everyday and 15 hours monthly.
