TSSC, Britco & Bridco open CoE for mobile handset repairing in Kerala; aim to train 3.5k youth
NEW DELHI: The Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC) and Britco & Bridco have opened a Centre of Excellence to train 3,500 youth in Kerala in mobile handset repair courses in the next one year, and place them for employment internationally.
The telecom skilling body in a statement Friday termed the partnership with Britco & Bridco as a “major push to the ‘Right to Repair’ initiative by the government”. The initiative is in association with Kerala Vocational Higher Secondary Education Department & Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, the statement added.
The CoE is equipped with high-end equipment, advanced laboratories, and highly qualified faculty and will serve as a hub for comprehensive training programs in mobile handset repair, said TSSC.
