TRP manipulation case: CBI records statements of BARC officials, seeks ED probe details

The Central Bureau of Investigation probing alleged manipulation of television rating points (TRP) has recently recorded statements of some officials of Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) that tracks viewership of various television channels and calculates TRP, people privy to the development said.

The federal agency has also written to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) seeking details on its probe, they said.
