Trai to release recommendations for Right of Way permissions

The telecom regulator could shortly announce its recommendations on easing right of way (RoW) permissions which are needed for overhead and underground telecom infrastructure, including laying of telecom fibre and deployment of in-building solutions.

An easing of RoW permissions would facilitate introduction of 5G telecom technology which requires special kind of infrastructure, even within building premises.
