Toolkit row: Delhi Police carries out searches at Twitter India office

A team of Delhi Police Special cell is carrying out a search at the Twitter India office in Delhi in connection with an inquiry into a complaint regarding the alleged COVID-19 ‘toolkit’ and sought a clarification from the microblogging site for classifying a related tweet by BJP leader Sambit Patra as “manipulative”, an official said on Monday, as per news agency ANI.

Team of Delhi Police Special cell is conducting raids in the offices (in Lado Sarai, Delhi and Gurugram) of Twitter India.

“The Delhi police team went to the Twitter office to serve a notice to Twitter, as part of a routine process.
