Tinder lets users text before matching, profile videos, announces Explore section for shared interests
Tinder, the world’s most widely used dating service, announced on Monday that it was adding support for two new features to help users connect with each other on the platform. These include the ability to add videos to users profiles, briefly messaging other users before matching with them, and a new Explore section to discover new people on the app. The company says that these new features are being added in response to changing demands from users in a post-Covid world.
The first feature coming to Tinder on the app is the ability to add videos to profiles, which the company says will offer users a more “authentic way to express themselves.”
