TikTok’s steroid promotion videos storm social media with millions of views

Social media platform TikTok is under scrutiny as a recent report highlights its role as a marketing channel for the promotion of bodybuilding drugs, including steroids. The study, released by the nonprofit Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH), points to popular videos on TikTok that encourage the use of these substances for aesthetic or athletic purposes. While the platform disputes these claims, concerns continue to grow over the influence of such content on young users.
