TikTok is the most downloaded app of 2020 in the world

NEW DELHI: The popular Mobile app analytics firm App Annie has released its annual report on mobile app trends of 2020. The report reveals that TikTok has managed to surpass Facebook to become the most downloaded app worldwide. TikTok has jumped three positions to become the most-downloaded app and the report also reveals that the app might break into 1 billion monthly active users by next year.

On the other hand, Facebook and its other apps still dominate the top five positions in the list. The second, third and fifth positions are captured by Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram respectively. The video conferencing app Zoom is the fourth most downloaded app in the world.
